Formal Meetings
HAM in the Shop
Club member, and past club president, Bob Rutherford - WB7WAM, likes to host the club out at his shop most almost every Saturday. All are welcome, come meet the members. Do you have a broken radio? Bring it with you, and we'll help you get it working. Need some tutoring for your next test? We have answers. Want to show off your latest field kit / go box? We'd love to see it. Come hang out with the Hams.​The door is open... seriously, just walk on in; but first check the calendar page, to make sure it isn't a special event day. ~11am~4pm...ish
HAM in the Park
Specific Location at the West Valley Park may be subject to change. If you don't find the club in the usual place, just look around.
April - October, 2nd Saturday of the month, from 10am - 2pm. Weather permitting, members of the Yakima Amateur Radio Club will meet at the West Valley Community Park. Join us at, or near, the west-end pavilion. Members often set up field antennas as both an exercise in field comms and as an exposition to the general public. All are welcome. Also, there is usually food. See you there!
